When I was a kid, we lived in a big, old farmhouse. Right outside our kitchen window was a prolific lilac bush. Every spring, a pair of robins would make a nest in it and raise their chicks - and I could view it all from the kitchen table. That old house is now long-gone, but those sweet memories are as vivid as ever.
This original piece of art was painted on a 1.5" cradled hardboard. The sides of the hardboard are painted a complementary color, so no frame is needed. The painting is ready to hang and enjoy. It's available at Off the Wheel Pottery and Gallery in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin.
